I cant beleive what some people from VMk are selling on ebay. After scrolling through 3 pages of items for sell i was appalled. Out of 2 pages of quest cards for sell ony 1 listing stated that the cards may be expired but i think the piece de resistance was the person selling "rare" codes for davey jones organs , skeleton monkeys, and chests for 99 cents apiece. DO some people just have no morals?

But there is justice in the world. Those "rare" items are bidless, and it cost the sellers money to list the items. The codes do have an expiration date, but as of now, the codes are still good and the parks are still giving out prizes with the old dates.

My favorite thing on ebay is the bunch of listing of "rear" items, from a seller who does not know how to spell rare. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I saw that :rotfl2: They had about ten items that said something like "Rear VMK Tron Suit" :rotfl:

Someone sent him an e-mail I've noticed, but he only fixed about three of them :rotfl:

3 pages in the VMK section? There usually were about six pages. There was this girl who used to sell a lot of stuff out there. I heard she got scammed and actually told VMK that someone on ebay scammed her! :lmao: How stupid can you get? They probably banned her.

There were usually 400 or more listings on Thursdays, and would rise to over 500 on Friday evenings. However, with the recent rash of serious scamming, none of the standard sellers are bothering any more. Most have shut down shop. It's unfortunate, since I know of at least one single mom who got a lot of her income from selling items on eBay, including VMK items.

And yes, telling VMK that someone scammed you is probably not in your best interest!

Yeah, not only is telling a VMK staff that you got scammed but telling them it was on ebay is worse. She could have scammed them while they were scamming her.

Hey did you guys see the "Very REAR TRON TELEPORTERS" out there? :lmao:

i saw somebody on ebay was charging $2.00 shipping to trade you an item in vmk :confused3 this is either trying to get ppl to send more money or some ppl are pretty dumb

They did not ban her, but they did not get her stuff back, either. From what I heard, the kid gave her back a bunch of scammed items, including inferno and a cyan ariel chest.

The funniest was that guy who sold the code generator. He also sold 1,000 sparrow codes for as cheap as one cent, but charged $10-20 for "shipping" and "insurance." Then, if you use them, you get banned. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

omg rare headdress proboly sold before it came out to leave the bidders stuck

Well, in the auction the guy had "do not bid" and a link to a paypal invoice for 9.95 - those auctions were removed by ebay for fee circumvention... and you cannot get banned for the codes since they are obtained exactly the way that everyone obtains them, only faster.

I just wanted to disspell that myth before it circulated. No matter what you hear about banning for "generated" codes, it is false. The "generators" are NOT generators, they are "harvesters". All they do it get codes faster, they are all still valid codes. The only way to get banned for codes is to put in too many codes too quickly. They CANNOT tell how the codes where obtained, if they could, the generators would not work at all.

This guy actually sends you something in the mail, usually a used code card. He thinks this will "protect him" from reversals.
