Getting shirts made for my kids for a February trip. Should I get long-sleeve?

We went the last week of January / first week of February in 2011. It rained the first day and we were glad we had long sleeved shirts on with a jacket. The second and third day we wore short sleeved shirts and then a jacket first thing in the morning. When it warmed up it was nice to have the short sleeved shirts. I guess it just depends on what the weather is going to be like when you are there.

Generally I would say yes, but even in Feb it can get to short-sleeve weather in the middle of the day (or it could be raining and cold, you just never know, LOL).

What about getting short sleeve shirts made and then wearing them over long sleeve shirts if it is colder, at least for the boys? I love that layered look :thumbsup2

ETA: My kids wear short sleeve shirts year round and just wear hoodies over them during the winter months (if that helps with your decision).

If they'll need long-sleeve, I'd rather get long sleeve so they're not wearing jackets covering up the shirts. But, I don't want them to be too hot either.

You can add a jacket, but there's not much you can do when you're too hot. Maybe a short-sleeve with a shirt under if they're cool would be the best plan.
