shirt question

just did my 1st shirt! and it didn't turn out 1/2 as bad as I thought! (after my tie dyes not turning out the best!) WHOO HOO!

My problem I noticed though was the white background didn't turn out as solid in some places (its a bit splotchy -like the black is coming thru- is that from not holding the iron in one spot long enough?

where do you do your shirts? since it says not to use an ironing board - this time I used a cookie sheet sitting on top of the ironing board (right height)

Just wanna figure out what caused it to not turn out as perfect as some of the others.

It was a black shirt with a design that has a white rectangle background around the figure.

First let me say, I always use my ironing board..as for the white not being as bright, maybe you didn't iron it long enough, I have never had that happen to me. I get my shirts from jiffyshirts.com and I get my transfers from M_I_C_K_E_Y, aka Amy...they are the best transfers. I hope I have helped a little.

I also got my transfers from amymickey. They worked wonderful! I got my shirts from Wal-Mart and Target. We visited Disney in June and have washed the shirts approx. 10 times and they all held up great. Looks like they are brand new! I too used my ironing board. Try the dark transfers!

I have not had that problem. Get some transfers from amymickey and redo them. She ships quickly. Each of my orders have made it from AZ to OH is 3 days or less. I order from jiffyshirts.com and if you order by 2 pm(est I think) you get them in 2 days. I order more transfers on Monday and shirts on Tuesday and I am expecting them both today. Once again, I highly recommend Amy's transfers. I have made close to 100 shirts and have not had any problems with the transfers. Her directions are easy to follow.
