Shirley's Baskets

Has any one ever had Shirley prepare an extremely large basket? Like one with a case of beer and a bottle of wine and Champagne? We want to cut some costs and bring our own, but do we really want to lug this stuff around in the morning/afternoon before we get to our cabins?

I had asked for four baskests. Two for the kiddos. Two for dh...one had 24 corona, and the other had two bottles of wine with a corkscrew. Shirley will ask your preferences for both wine and/or beer. This worked out so well for us. Without having to drag this onboard.

Can anyone tell me approximately how much an adult beverage basket is. Mommasita, would you mind me asking how much your basket cost?

Hello there - maybe I can answer some of the questions often asked of the shop - first I try to work with everyone's budget - I make suggestions when I feel a family is going over the edge and then sometimes I have been thanked and sometimes I have been asked "don't I want business" --I just know that each has had to save pennies to go on their well deserved cruise and I just put in my 2 cents - I have made very HUGE baskets - in fact one was so big that poor Norm had a very hard time delivering it - BUT I agreed when the customer convinced me this is what they wanted to do - Beer and wine sometimes run into a higher cost when it is top shelf - Beer runs between $2.00 to $2.50 a can or bottle - we have made up to 6 cases of beer, wine, champagne, snacks etc - again it all depends on your wishes - When Norm and I went on a cruise, we chose to send ourselves our drinks - we found it very convient and most of all we didn't have to drag it with us - we just wanted to be 'comfortable" - in fact we had ours done in a cooler with ice -
