Shipping WDW Merchandise

Hi,
I know that they have this magic number that you call and they'll send you actual merchandise from the parks (an album you may have forgotten or a t-shirt you wished you'd bought etc).

What do you think my chances are of them shipping a dozen Minnie Bakeshop White Chocolate Raspberry Cookies to Canada? Seriously.

Or any other merchandise for that matter... I've heard about Americans using this service but not Canadians. Has anyone ever done this?

It is my understanding that Disney will not ship food of any kind, not even within the US. Actually they won't even send food from the parks to the resorts when you stay onsite and use the package delivery service
OTOH, I do not see any reason they would not ship other merchandise to Canada, but I would highly recommend that you check on the shipping and duty charges before making a commitment to buy anything. In my experience, shipping charges to Canada for purchases from disneyshopping.com is ridiculously expensive...not sure if this would be any indicator.

I know what you mean about those Disney Shopping surcharges - I went to purchase several things on sale but the shipping was way more than the actual items....

I'm seriously thinking about getting a US PO box....

I did this last year; there was a tote bag at Everything Pop that I wished I had gotten. Well, I phoned Disney Mail Order directly, described the bag to the woman (she found the exact tote bag with no problem), put it on my credit card and I had the bag three days later for only $10 shipping. They're great!!!

Wow, $10 shipping? That's it? That really is pretty good to ship to Canada (I think we get kinda ripped off here sometimes...)
