Shipping to the resorts

Ok so I know alot of brides have shipped things ahead of time to their resorts. How far ahead? I just called Disney and was told it had to arrive the day I check in or after or else they will send it back. Is this true? I want to make sure it arrives the day I'm there or before because some of the things for my ceremony will be in there. Help!

No, that is not true. I've had things arrive up to a week before I did and it was no problem, because what you do is write ...

Arrival Date: [Your date]

... on the package, so they know what the deal is.



Just know that if you are shipping to a resort with an Ikon Business Center (i.e., a resort with a convention center attached) you will be charged a fee for receiving the package.

Yes, it's by weight: $3 for up to 4 lbs, $5 for 5-20 lbs, and $10 for 21-70 lbs.
