Shipping to England ???

I am selling something on E-Bay and someone asked if I could ship to England ..... Does anyone know HOW to do this and how much it costs ?? Is this even possible !?

It might help to know what the item is. But of course you can ship it to England. It is fairly expensive though - I just shipped a box a little under 2 lbs. I went to the post office and asked how much the shipping rate would be -- it was $5.10 by boat (4-6 weeks) and $11.00 by air (4-7 days) I then gave the person the choice of which they wanted. You will also have to fill out a customs form. I think you can also find the shipping rates online at usps.gov

You may be able to fit that into a flat rate international envelope, if that's the cheapest option. Airmail may be cheaper though. I've bought books from the UK through ebay and the shipping wasn't overly expensive.

I used global priority to ship something to England, it was not too bad, $10 I think. There IS a Global (Free) box, it is the flat type about 2 1/2 inches high. The limits for Global priority are under 4 pounds, and there is a limit to size of the box. I think shipping larger of heavier items could be a real pain........
