In every store they say they can ship anywhere, do you know how much it is to ship here in Canada? Is it the same as Disney strore when you order on line? Do you have to pay extra taxes?
Thanks ;)

Basically the same absurd shipping. Brokerage, Duty, Taxes...it depends. No rhyme of reason if they do or don't. we've had packages come through with a $1500 value with no charges and a $35 package with a $42 brokerage, Admin/tax charge attached to the parcel.

If you are thinking of shipping items back home during your holiday.... it is cheaper to pack an empty duffle bag and stuff that with your laundry and put your souvenirs in your suitcase. I know West Jet charges $20 for a second bag.

That's what I would do. We were going to have a walking stick sent home (a giraffe from AK) and the cost was as much as the stick. I figured when I got to the airport I would mail it. In the end, Westjet wrapped it a bit better than the bubble wrap and out with the oversize stuff (like hockey sticks and guitars). They didn't even charge us!

Yep I would not be shipping anything home. A few years ago we bought the toy castle and it said shipping was $10 or something like that we thought great but since we were in Canada it would have been over $50, more than what we paid for the castle so we ended up taking it with us. They put it in the plane like a stroller....handed it to me when we got off and we had a lay over too so I had to carry it around another airport.

I bought a mini replica of the partner's statue in Sept and had it shipped back to Calgary, and I believe it was around $100 for shipping (it cost around $100/$150) and it actually arrived within 48 hours of me purchasing it, which I did not expect!!
