Considering shipping a box with supplies to WDW for my first trip and am curious as to what people have paid. I'm shipping from Boston and would like to hear your experience and what shippers you have used.

Also, would you do the same thing again?

Thanks!

You can go to the FedEx and UPS websites to get a quote and find out how long before your trip ship your package.

Understood. Purpose of thread is to learn from the experience of others...

We've done it many times. We're just north of Boston and most times send a box UPS ground about 4 days before we plan to arrive. I'd say we use a box about 24" x 10" x 18" "ish".....let's just say it's big enough to send down 12 waters, 2 boxes of pop tarts, chips, crackers, granola bars & lots of other breakfast foods/snacks and a few toiletries. We always end up with more food than we can eat. My husband seems to remember it costing us about $30. The only difference now is that some of the resorts that have convention centers attached to them charge a delivery fee for these boxes, so I guess you have to take that into consideration along with the shipping rates to see how worth it it really is. We believe it is worth it because it saves us a fortune in breakfast and snack expenses even with the shipping charge. The only time we haven't done it is when we have already planned to have a rental car...in that case we just run to a nearby store.

I shipped a box to Poly from IL using USPS for ~$11 (maybe a little less, it was last year). It was maybe a 12x12x18 box with toiletries and snacks. The box showed up in our room the 2nd day (probably would have been on time, but I wrote the wrong zip code ). We happened to have been upgraded to club level so after we packed the box back up, the concierge desk made sure it got to where it needed to be for shipping. Otherwise, you can take it to the front desk and they will help you with shipping it back. It got shipped back FedEx - don't remember the cost, but not too different from shipping down. Also not sure if using UPS or USPS would have been an option.
I would definitely ship again if it is less expensive than checking bags and/or having a grocer deliver.
