shipping goods to resorts?

We're going to be staying at POFQ for two weeks in late May. As you may know, the price of some goods (IPod) is a lot lower in the US than in the UK. But Amazon US won't ship those goods to the UK

So I'm thinking that while we're in Orlando, I could order some stuff from Amazon and have it shipped to the hotel. Is that possible?

We just did this during our stay last week. We live in Canada and I had stuff sent to me at both the Poly and AKL. It took AKL a while to find the package that I had shipped there but I did eventually get it. (The problem you may run into is that some retailers will not ship to a different address than the billing address for the credit card that you are using to pay.)

See if there is an Aple store in Orlando and buy your ipod there.

Well I wasn't very clued up on IPod prices the last time I went (last year), but there's an Apple store in the Mall at Millennia. However, by ordering online you can avoid the 6% Florida sales tax
