Shipping Golf Clubs from SSR

I've read the stickey and did a search on shipping items to the resorts. There isn't anything about shipping back home.

We're taking our golf clubs with us to play at SSR and the other golf courses at WDW. We don't mind checking them in when we fly since we are both have elite status with American Airlines (AA). However, we play on flying to NYC for the US Open and we would prefer to ship our clubs back to L.A. There are several services that I found, but I don't know how reliable they are. I know I can always use FedEx, but I wanted to avoid having to haul the clubs to a FedEx office and packing them up.

Any suggestions on a reliable service would be appreciated.

It wasn't golf clubs but a window airconditioner I shipped back from Ft. Wilderness. I did not have a car or the ability to go to a Fed Ex office. I set up an account with Fed Ex online, I pre-printed a shipping label and pre-arranged the pick up day. Once at the front desk I explained everything, they helped me tape everything thing up and put my item back in the office. I left on ME and had my tracking number to watch it's return to my home. Went off without a hitch. Good luck.
