Shipping AP Magic Bands to Grand Floridian

I am Canadian and therefore Disney would not ship my AP Magic bands to me. I have to ship them to my resort which is the Villas @ the Grand Floridian. We check in Nov 22. I have just not found out that I have to pick up shipments at VGF at the business centre. Please tell me that Disney is not going to change me $$ ot pick up this particular package?? I would hope they would be treated by the hotel like regular MBs and I can pick them up at the front desk at no charge?

The convention resort business centers are run by a private subcontractor company, not Disney itself. So yes, all packages you pick up there are a fee. On the bright side, paying $5 for the package is a whole lot cheaper than buying bands at $12 a pop in the parks.

If you really have a beef with the fee, then don't order them. You don't need them for anything, they are just an extra set- interchangeable with any other bands from this, prior, or future trips.

You can get gray non-customized bands for free at the front desk when you check in or pay for the package at the business center.

There is a possibility that they would waive the package fee but no guarantee.

Thanks all. I am already picking up the customized bands for this trip at the Front Desk. I only ordered the AP ones because disney told me to and said they were free to get at the hotel. I guess I will find out when I get there.

I am already ticked anyway about the shipping thing because I ordered stuff from DisneyStore.com and for some reason they did two shipments for a tiny order. Now I have to pay $10 in fees for that for no good reason. I emailed the Disneystore about that one because it is not fair IMHO.
