As mentioned up thread, unlike a home delivery, both Garden Grocer and Wegoshop will leave your order with bell services. You can pick it up from bell services or have them deliver it to your room at your leisure.

Bell services does store the perishables and other cold items in a fridge.

It depends on what you are after. Previous posters have given good advice about delivery for beer. If you are after liquor or wine, I've had good luck packing a bottle of rum in our checked bag. Add to fountain coke and you are good to go!

Another person who has had good luck with Garden Grocer. In fact I just ordered beer, hard lemonade and hard cider for next week's trip. I sent them a photo of my driver's license. If it goes as other trips have, my booze and other groceries will be waiting when I arrive and bell services will bring them to the room as soon as the room is ready. Until then, they will refrigerate the milk and any other cold stuff. Can't remember if the beer was cold when it was delivered or not - we headed out to a park so it was definitely cold when we got back to the villa. We've been very pleased with Garden Grocer.

Still not sure what the problem is. Would you expect them to leave alcohol on your porch?

Personally I do not drink alcohol all that often, so for me it is a non-issue.
