Shipping a package ahed of time to hotel

Do all disney hotels allow this? We are staying at the Double Tree and I got this idea from some posters on this site. I will be going witha 2 year old and a 6 month old so I think this will be easier. Thanks

Are you talking about the Doubletree suites near Downtown Disney? I would suggest you call the hotel to see if they accept guest packages. The Doubletree is not a Disney hotel, but it is located very very near Downtown Disney.

And I agree, the Doubletree is NOT a Disney resort. I hope you realize this in terms of your other planning -- since it's not a Disney resort, there's no Disney transportation, no use of Extra Magic Hours, no room charge privileges at the parks, etc.

Most hotels do accept packages, but I'd check on their policy.

I found it helpful to mail out a package to ourselves in advance of diapers, wipes, snacks and other baby needs. Good luck and have fun planning!

You do get the busses back and forth from the parks just a fyi. You dont get the extra hours but it is an "officil" disney hotel

How do you do this? Do you just address it to yourself and they know enough to hold it?

You do not get Disney transportation. That hotel does have bus transportation, not Disney transportation, and they do stop at all of the hotels on Hotel Plaza Blvd (at least they did when we stayed there several yrs. ago). It is probably labeled an Official Disney Good Neighbor hotel, but it is not Disney. IMO the hotel is nice and the rooms have been refurbished in the last year or two.

We stay at the Doubletree every year. I have stayed at most Disney hotels and love the Doubletree. Very large when you have little ones who need to run.
