We’re going on a Halloween on the High Seas cruise on the Magic in October and have paid for the cruise in full. However, the onboard activities don’t list a tour of the ship. We did a tour of the Wish and really liked it, and wanted to do the same on the Magic. Does anyone know if they offer these tours on the Magic, and if so when we can book them? Also, are there any other fun adult-oriented activities that don’t involve mixing or tasting alcoholic beverages that we should look into? We drink but we’re not big drinkers so the mixology classes aren’t really for us. This is our first cruise without the kids. We did book dinner at Palo for Pirate night.

Its called Art of The Theme Show Tour. It wont show up on the pre cruise activities. It only shows up when you are on the ship with all of the other daily onboard activities on the App. You don't book it, you just show up at the meet up time and place. Usually they do it on the morning of At Sea days.

Do you want the one that goes behind the scenes - galleys, theater, laundry (usually for a fee; Or the Theme of the Art/ Art of the Theme type (free)?

I know the Wish had some 18+ learn to draw events, I would hazard a guess the Magic might offer something similar?

I honestly don’t know. The one we did before we had to sign up for and there were a limited number of spots. I don’t remember if we paid. It was really cool because after we took the tour we would notice things around the ship more. I’ll check once I get onboard. I didn’t realize there were two types.

In the early days of the Wish (we sailed in August 2022), it was the same, free, Art of the Theme Show tour, but you had to sign up. I think because it was a new ship, it was too popular for them to just have people show up. I think it has since changed.

On the Magic, it will be listed in the Navigator App as an activity, typically on sea days. We do it on every cruise because each person leading it tells us something a little different!

Many of the regular activities offered are also offered as 18+ events, so Learn to Draw, Anyone Can Cook, various trivias. There is also 18+ game shows, etc. each evening in Fathoms (Magic). Those will all be in the app as well, not something you sign up for ahead of time.

The best (and pretty much only) way to see what adult and adult-oriented activities are being offered is to look at the Navigator app once you're at the port or onboard. In addition to those mentioned above, I've seen presentations on the history of the Disney Cruise ships and a talk/performance by a Broadway performer who's part of the evening shows.

The Art of the Theme Ship tour is typically offered on embarkation day and again 1 or 2 more times on sea days or days with late debarkation.

I'm not a drinker either, but I did enjoy the Chocolate and Liquor tasting, which highlighted the way the two flavors complimented each other.

There is usually live music (vocal and/or piano) in Keys in the evenings, if you're not into the more active shows in Fathoms.

Art of the Theme Ship Tours found in recent Personal Navigators for the Magic:

3-N No tours listed
4-N morning tour (10am) on Sea Day
5-N morning tour (9 am) on both Sea Days
