We are planning to book one or two excursions on our own during our cruise and I realized that there might be a time difference.

Our cruise is on the Adventure of the Seas departing out of Fort Lauderdale with stops in Labadee, San Juan, St. Kitts and St. Maarten.

Specifically for St. Kitts, does the ship time stick with Florida time or will it adjust to local time? I just don’t want to miss the boat, literally.

Thanks!!!!!!

It really depends on the time of year and the captain.

If you're going during Daylight Saving Time chances are Ship Time = Port Time as your ports are on Atlantic Time and don't follow DST. If you're going during Standard Time there might be a change in times, but it will be announced. Arrival and boarding times will be in the Cruise Compass and will be shown in Ship's Time.

Assuming you're booking with a "known" company they will always work to get you back to the port on time, but keep in communication with them so that they are clear that you don't want to miss the boat.

Thank you! That is very helpful! Especially since we are traveling in April and it will be Daylight Saving Time. Thanks!!!!
