shinky dink disaster!

Well I got to the store. Bought a pack and came home ready to go!
Set it up and printed away...the ink smeared everywhere...tried again....changed printer setting ,slightly better but RUBS OFF!
No luck.
Go to web site and bought wrong stuff. They actually make ink jet shrinky dinks..
Now do I order it or sit here and hand color 10 Mickey mouse or is mice?

Spinning, I'm sorry to hear about the printing problems you had today. Just wanted to pass on something I read recently about printing on shrink plastic. It recommended using a very fine sand paper, rubbing in all directions before printing to help the ink stick and not smear. Maybe that worth a try???

I did some reading on their web site and they said the ink would smear. Plus I printed on the rough side.
But it ends up being way too small anyway so I had to super inlarge Mickey and wouldn't be able to print it out any way. IT was kind of blurred but worked for me to trace, color and cut out! But I do want to get some of the ink jet shrinky dinks. That could be a lot of fun with photo's
