Hi all i dont seee a weather thread but am scared TS cindy could possible effect my early fri am flight. What does disney do should I miss a day at the first of my vacation secondary to flight delay. I would be okay being stuck in florida at the end of my vacation but would be verry upsett to be stuck in dallas at the begining of the trip.

Two tropical systems

The tropics continue to stay active, with a tropical depression, and newly formed Tropical Storm Cindy. Tropical Storm Cindy is located in the Gulf of Mexico. It is a minimal storm with winds of 40 miles per hour. It is forecasted to move more northward today, making landfall somewhere along the Gulf coast. Tropical Storm Cindy will not affect the west coast of Florida.

Elsewhere in the tropics, tropical depression number four formed late last night. It is moving through the eastern Caribbean and will possibly become a tropical storm later today as well. We are going to keep a close eye on this storm since it is still several days away and the path is still uncertain at this time.

Back at home we will continue to experience sunny and hot weather. Temperatures will be in the 90s for everyone again today, with heat indices as high as 110 degrees. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids if you are outside today. The warm, dry weather should continue through the day tomorrow then we will see a more normal pattern return with afternoon thunderstorms.

Not sure Disney does anything. That is a chance you take when you book during hurricane season....having delayed flights. Not Disney's fault. Or do you mean something else. Good Luck to you! My neighbors just left themselves this morning, I hope you all don't get stuck in your rooms over this storm.

Where are you flying from Friday morning? The remnants of Cindy should be in the mid-Atlantic states by Friday but it should only be a muggy rainstorm...no strong winds or dangerous conditions.

From our local reports here it sounds like Cindy will come on shore tonight, Tuesday, probably somewhere along the Louisiana or possibly the wester Mississippi coast. Her max winds are 45 now, may strengthen a bit today. I really think (and hope) you will be ok for Friday. I hope you have a great trip.

Also, Fla will likely be on the eastern edge of this, the better place to be.

We are now looking at a possible TS Dennis coming up from the Caribbean. They think it will become a TS sometime tomorrow and perhaps a hurricane by the next day. The current track has it crossing over Cuba and into the Gulf. Some of the models have it making landfall along LA and the panhandle area. Other models have it swining East/Northeast toward Florida.

call the airlines asap and ask them if they have any info about what might happen if a possible delay takes place. you could also call 1-407-w-disney and ask them i'm sure they've had questions like this before. i hope you get there ok! damn hurricanes!
