Hi there!!! This is my 1st first trip report so bear with me.
I am planning a birthday surprise for my mom, drum roll please
She will be turning 70 in January, which is great
, she is a very young 70
. and this will be a mother/ daughter trip, and our 1st mother daughter trip to WDW. We always went as a family when I was growing up. Great memories
My Dad is in on the sursprise and mom always says you guys can pull anything over on me, she is pretty good at sniffing out secrets. NOT this time MOM... We are going to really sursprise you.
Sooo some back story, 3 years ago my mom and a very serious heart attack and she almost did not make it. She never smoked, and was not over weight at all, pretty physically fit, they said that the heart attack was brought on by stress, her body was in stress from another issue she was having unknown at the time even though she had be telling the Dr' something wasn't right, and also stress from my brother and his family issues. They told us that she would never drive again, and would be limited to what she could do. Well My MOM showed them, she is back driving, goes shopping, and travels with me back and forth to Georgia. She does get tired much easier, but she know's when she needs to rest and does so, and of course my Dad and I watch her like 2 hawks.
Oh yea, on top of planning this trip, my DD is getting married in March in Florida... Yep..More Planning... It's a Good thing that I love to plan..
Now on with the show
We will be traveling to Fl, on January 24th, DD and her future DH in one car and me in my Merlot Mama - Which is my SUV name.
- We are tellling mom that we need 2 cars because of the center pieces and then bring the gifts back.
Friday -25th, My mom will becoming along for some of the final wedding things, she just thinks we are coming for this reason... Little does she know
....We will have the menu tasting at the venue, final cake consult as well as the floral consult..
Saturday - 26th My daughter's Family Shower and then her shower with her friends then bachelortte party.
Sunday - 27th - DD and future DH will head back to Georgia. So Sunday before they leave I will tell her that I have a surprise and to pack and that we are going to WDW... She will be so happy, then look at my Dad and DD and say did ya'll know...?? Priceless. Now if we can just make sure she doesn't find out.
Monday 28th we will be checking in to POR - My mom will love it, I don't know if I should request Alligator Bayou or one of the Manison?? Suggestions Please or maybe I might which over to POFQ??? What to do... What to do???

. My name is Donna and I am a Disney Kid, the 1st time I went was in 1971 and I was 10 years old, and have been at least once a year since then,... gosh ... I just told my age. Oh well .. I'm not bothered by it
. I am married to my best friend and love of my life, and we each have a grown DD's. The oldest is getting married 
next year.. Which I am going to make it through...If all the planning and changing plans and all the other fun stuff that goes with it
which I will really be needing a few adult beverage to help me make it through.
