and my Grand daughter Jada age 6. (her vision of us-- Mom Mom is mean and bossy. She tells us what to do and PopPop plays with me) She thinks she is the boss of PoP Pop. He will tell her "you're not the boss of me and she will turn around and ask me--- MomMom am I the boss of PopPop?

Jada was born in Dec 2005. Has spent many many weekends with us. Ok a few she spent with her parents and has spent MOST weekends with us except when we go on vacation.
We were cruisers twice a year until we cruised to Aruba one year and fell in love with that island. We did a land vacation the following year and the year after that we got us a Time Share.
Jada always asked when she can go with us on vacation and we always told her that when the tears stopped coming because she wanted to go home we would consider taking her with us.
Since that conversation she never cried to go home again. (and we do tell her its ok to miss your mom- its just not ok to cry about it since we do not ever plan to steal her and keep her forever and ever.
We took her on a cruise with us last February for Valentines Day. Both because of her PoPPop and I had such a magical time.
She did not want to do the kids clubs but stay with us as she has more fun with us then she will in the club.
After the cruise we told her how proud we were that she didn't cry when she wanted to go home and we will plan to go to Aruba in August.
She is excited beyond belief that she can lay on a chair and get her tan on. (her words)

Airfare to Aruba sure is high this year. $735.00 per person x's 3 = 2205. which doesnt even include baggage fees. (yikes.) that price is my entire vacation budget for 2 people for a week. I wonder how I was gonna put it off.
I use Yapta and Kayak to name a few of price tracking sites. nothing has been coming down since August when I first tracked.
PopPop told me that I should consider looking at one way tickets instead.
I did and what I found was astounding to me.
I could go from Aruba to Orlando and stay at Disney (Coronda Springs- since I always wanted to stay there- Jut cant afford it for a week at a time) the weekend with one day park tickets plus quick service meal planand fly home from Orlando to Phl on Monday afternoon with a one way ticket non stop direct to Aruba for less then 500.00 .
add my disney stay and the total Price of the airfare/disney weekend is a little less then 2000.00
So after a little of going back and forth with PopPop. (do I realize I gotta go to work the next day-- yes) do I realize its a holiday weekend? yes its Labor day weekend.
we decided to book.
We are leaving PHL on Sunday, August 26th at 8:00am and heading non stop to Aruba arriving at 12:30 Staying all week at the Occidental with the All Inclusive in our one bedroom delux room.
We have a full Bedroom, kitchen, Living room and two full bathrooms

We will leave Aruba on Saturday at 1:00 with arrival in Orlando at 4:30.
Funny that no one can tell me if I can send my bags using the magical Express. I mean everyone tells me that since I need to clear customs I gotta collect my bags=== but in Aruba you clear US Customs IN Aruba not the US>
