WOOHOO dr says I am healing great and to keep doing what I am doing. Another follow up on Nov 26th, then off to Disney Dec 1st I think today is the last day I am picking up the kids early and next week I am going to attempt car line, we will see how that goes.

DetTigsGal - at least at the mall all those people have power, internet, and most importantly warmth! My BF up in Boston lost power for a while last year too. This year she made sure to have a generator for this storm.

We had a water/lagoon view overlooking the wedding gazebo. I posted pics here on Sept 19th. On my iPad it is showing on page 83, but not sure what page that is on a phone or pc

Heard back from Sarah today & first, she says hi and that she misses everyone!!

As to the power situation, not so great news. The entire town is without power and at the town meeting this AM, it was learned that power is not expected to be fully restored until November 14th!!

They are OK, just eating starch since anything perishable is long gone. The health department is trying to get emergency propane to their house due to her medical situation. They are conserving their propane and expect to make it until Monday.

I offered to bring them groceries (as I know Pas would do in a minute as well ) ... But she says the roads aren't safe for anyone to get to them (many downed live wires all over). If it changes for her DH to be able to meet us close by, said we would be there for her.

On another note ... she asked if Jeannette got power and and then I told her that Pas managed 2 RCs in the last 2 days! So Pas she does know about RPR and now the POLY... her response?? "I believe the POLY when she checks in!!"

Our Sarah .... always displaying that positive outlook ... saying "this too will pass"... Hugs to you Sarah, PLEASE let me or Pas know if we can do anything!

My kiddos were only out for Monday and Tuesday. All was back to normal as of Wednesday!!

I feel so badly for all of those people in NY, who are watching more of a concern for the marathoners than the people suffering.

On another note, now I am getting ready for next week, which will be CRAZY!!!!! DH flies down to Mississippi on Sunday for work and won't be back until late next Saturday.

As usual, it's a super busy week, with work/school...Monday=DD8 basketball practice for two hours 6-8
Then, we don't have school on election day and I will have some family friends kids over since I will be staying home...gotta find time to vote with 4 kids in tow and then get DD5 to gymnastics that night
Then Wednesday, DD8 has 3 hours of play rehearsal that night...

And I've got to juggle this all by myself...

Sorry, had to vent...

I got off the phone, and HRH was rolling on the floor saying she wanted to go to the Polynesian, But she HAD to stay at Beach Club because it had a snack room

So after reviewing locations, she said it HAD to be on the monorail...and NOT Grand Floridian, construction (ugh...I know) And it HAD to be Polynesian...

I managed to max out changes, and they rebooked a completely new reservation Disney Accounting must LOVE me

re: the not liking hot weather. My brother -- who moved down there about 6 or 7 years ago -- always tells me how much he's acclimatized to the heat. I love my seasons. Even my snow (except the whole "driving in it" thing.)

Hi!! I didn't change to the Poly but thinking of changing from the Poly, hehe.

Ha! You two are funny ladies! Candace don't go putting thoughts in my head about the Poly! I am very ok with POR this time....REALLY!!

No really, finances dictate a more frugal trip since we are doing 2 in 2013....plus we still need some $$$ for a little summer vacation too.

Candace: Sorry you have a full plate next week...I am sure the DD's appreciate everything you do for them.

I hear ya!!! I don't know how single parents do it! I am not sweating it too much as it's only a week.

He's had deployments much longer than that before and we've gotten through...the only difference right now is that the kids are to the age that they are involved in SOOOOO many activities, so it's now not just a matter of going to work, picking up the kids, making dinner and putting them to bed...it's
get the girls ready for school
get the girls to school
get to work for a full day
pick up the girls
change the girls
bring girls to their activity
dinner???
get the girls ready for bed
then I get to make lunches, clean up and maaaaybeee get to bed around 11 pm.

Just venting again....sorry. I'm ok!!!
