How sad that your trip report is ending! Last days are always tough, but I wish everything had been easier leaving and all. This TR has seemed to fly by, but at least, there's still other trip report from when you and your mom went. Or is that one about to end, too? I'll have to go check.

She DOES! She's absolutely amazing - she's such a good, genuine performer. I was extremely impressed with her show! (and I loved that it had a whole "princess-ey" theme goin' throughout the whole thing haha)

Chapter 26 - So That's About It!
August 14th, 2011

So once again, it is time to officially finish another wonderful trip! I'm glad I got to relive it for this long! (Even though this TR seemed to zoom by!)

It was really nice for my family to spend this time together and go on a real vacation just the four of us. That doesn't happen too much anymore now that we're growing up!

I think, overall, our favorite part of this trip was visiting all of the different restaurants. The night we got home from the trip, I asked everyone to write down the order of their favorite table service restaurants... from favorite to least favorite.

As you can see, Ohana, Via Napoli, and Kona made the Top 4 on EVERYBODY'S! So I have to say, it's a pretty safe bet to go to any of those!

And here are a few last souvenirs that didn't make it into the trip report:

And another picture of my beautiful Douney! And it's sitting on top of a blanket that I got in January (I don't think I ever took a picture of it for the TR, though!) It's has Cinderella's Castle at Christmastime on it! I'm bringing that blanket to college! (There are actually a TON of Disney things in that picture LOL)

So my overall thoughts on this vacation are that it was a good one - I definitely had a nice time! I felt myself being more relaxed than usual and I just took it all in at a leisurely pace. It was a classic family vacation for us - just us 4, going to Disney World, and staying at Old Key West. I do love trips like that, even though I am looking forward to spicing it up in the future! I still wish that Jonathan would go on thrill rides and toughen up so he can stay with me during Extra Magic Hours more often But I am HOPING that it will happen eventually. (Who knows at this point, though? )

I hope you all enjoyed reading along all about our Family Vacation! I definitely chipped away at my "Must Do Dining List" and got a taste of some new places! That was awesome!

As for upcoming Trip Report Goodness:

My Trip Report that is in progress is about a Mother Daughter Trip we took in April! We stayed at Kidani Village and ate lots of good food. It is called: “IT’S OUR MOTHER DAUGHTER TRIP!” Our Spontaneous Getaway - April 2011 (Just click the title to be redirected)

Also, my best friend Kristen just went on a Trip this past July with her Dad and her Brother. They stayed at French Quarter and got a lot accomplished! Her trip report is called: "SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP! It Builds Character and Strength!" A July 2011 TR

Kristen is actually going back to the World TOMORROW! AHHH! So exciting So another trip report will be starting up about that trip eventually! Be on the look out!

My other good friend Allie just got back from a Disney Trip in July as well, and her Trip Report is called:
"Your Lime Green Chariot Awaits!" ~ a WDW Family Vacation ~ July 2011 Trip Report!

And as for me.... my next upcoming trip is going to be during Christmas Week! And I am planning on doing a Trip Report for that! (as long as college doesn't drive me into the ground )

Speaking of college, that is starting up August 27th! So I hope all goes well! I'm a little nervous but I'm sure that it will be a good experience!

Interesting how everyone in your family had different restaraunts ranked in different places. Nice to see that you guys for the most part liked the same restaraunts and didn't like the same restaraunts. Well, except for jonathan who didn't put his in order.

Your TR has made me super psyched to try via napoli on my next trip in January.

You bag and blanket are super cute, i also enjoyed seeing the plates and earrings as well.

This TR defintely has come across as the most relaxing trip of all your TR's so far.

I love being able to cross off places on my must try list. I'm excited because on my next trip i will be able to try 3 new counter service places (via napoli, crystal palace, and Sci Fi dine-in)

I've subscribed to all the TR's, and they are all fantastic and are so much fun to read. I love seeing people around my age who enjoy disney as much as i do I know a couple people from my town's children's community theater group that are super into disney but i find myself constantly seeming over the top with my disney obession (but in a very, very, good way of course)

I liked seeing that transition between your TRs (since of course I was reading them at the same time). I love the top 10 lists you gave. Disney food is something I need more research in and this just helps so much. I may have to look into 'Ohana, Via Napoli and Kona

Jess, I'm not sure if I told you how much I've been enjoying your TRs! What a nice time you had with your family...Definitely brings back memories. On my last trip as a "kid" I was 19 and my brother was 16. We had a blast together! I'm sure Jonathan will come around for even more Disney fun next time.

wow, I fall behind over the summer and you finish up this whole TR! I guess this is what happens when i subscribe to so many TRs that I can't keep up!

So glad you enjoyed Ohana! I kknow it gets mixed reviews, but we almost always have to eat there. For the bread pudding alone sometimes. We also love our Kona food! Soemtimes I think we end up eating at the Poly more than at the parks!

Ugh, sorry to hear about your friend's dating drama, but she's better off. She'll find her true Prince Charming one day.

I'll now switch over this week to catch up on your other TR and other people's, but just in case I fall behind again - Good luck at college!!! I still remember all of that prepartion and packing and nerves like it was yesterday. Don't know if you are going far from home, but have fun and enjoy it all!

I kinda didn't adopt them, I just naturally... never sleep in Disney. On my first trip, I actually once woke up at 3 in the morning, after going to bed so late. It was pretty funny and when I woke up late one time, I was so upset with myself. Then, I read Jess's TR and found out about your little motto and I was like "Someone understands me!", so then I sorta adopted it yeah LOL And if you write that book, I would SO read it, but I would like a signed copy thank you
