She's gone.

My niece, Lori, passed away a short time ago.

She stopped breathing during the night, which caused her to be brain dead.

Her parents pulled the plug this afternoon, and she died a short time ago.

To everyone who supported me during this ordeal, I thank you. I received a number of PMs from many of you that I haven't had the time to answer. Please know that I appreciate all of your good wishes.

She's finally at peace.

JJ - I am so sorry, it's so hard to lose someone at any age, but most certainly at a young age. I didn't know the particulars, I'm not always current with the DIS, but my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May your dear, sweet, niece rest in peace and may God hold her in his loving arms.
