Sheryl Crow Hallmark Holiday CD

I'm a big Sheryl Crow fan so I purchased her holiday Hallmark exclusive CD without having heard any of the songs.

It is the worst holiday CD I have ever heard. The songs are flat.

That's what I thought too.

My husband didn't believe me when I said it was horrible. I heard him pop the CD in as he gave each song on it the ol' college try. As he scanned song through song he pulled out the CD and declared that I was right.

We're both fans of hers too.

I work at a Hallmark store and we are required to have her CD playing on our music system, and believe me, it gets more painful with each playing. There are a couple of songs that are just plain awful to listen to. Stick to rockabilly, Sheryl. Seriously.

Hallmark hasn't put out a good Christmas album since they brought in the former Williams Sonoma team to run everything. (Lauri, not Matthew - a former 26 yr Hallmark employee)

Thanks for the review, I planned to pick it up today... forget that. Remember this next year when it is released as a commercial xmas album.

After many years as a Hallmark ornie freak - 10-15 ornies a year, each year I am getting less. This year I bought only 2 ornies. Perhaps it is the new team PP mentioned but I really miss the "old" Hallmark. There are NO mini ornies this year .....
