Sheraton Vistana Resort review

I just returned from a week at the Sheraton Vistana Resort. It so totally exceeded our expectations! We used the Diamond Lane check in and requested a top floor room in our desired section. We didn't get the section I requested but I'm so grateful. I requested what I thought had the largest units but in the end, our Fountains I unit was fantastic.
We had top floor which included vaulted ceiling and sky lights, and of course, no one above us! We also had a end unit so there was natural light in the master bath! I was just so pleased with all of it except the check out... there was a huge line and we were in a hurry so I skipped it. The only thing that ought to be charged is a few local phone calls.
We used two different pools but none of the other "recreation" ammenities.

Glad u had a nice time motherofallfans........we also had a 3rd floor (end unit) Fountains I villa in Aug. The new furnishings have really improved this section.

May I ask u a question ? Were they still having everyone stop at the Guard station and show a photo ID after 8 pm ? I called to complain about this and spoke to the head of security in early Sept. I told him how inconvenient this was---we had LONG lines trying to get into the resort after we came home from the parks. I told them they needed an owner's/renter's key access to the gate. Because with what we were experiencing.....people would not have their ID's ready--or not have them at all---then proceed to ask all sorts of questions and directions etc, meanwhile holding the rest of the line up. So I was just curious if they had changed this policy ? Thanks for the report.
