Sheraton Vistana Resort Check In Question

I see that the check in time is 4:00 pm. We are actually getting off the Disney cruise that morning and probably arriving around 10am to the resort. I wondering if anyone has gotten there room late morning or early afternoon? I'd like to try and get a renovated room if possible and I figured arriving earlier might help those chances. Thanks for any info.

Your room may be ready, but if not they will assign you a room at that time and you can get into it later. Arriving early may be helpful if the room they have assigned you isn't one you desire, you'll probably have a greater chance of changing.

Just to set things straight..I believe.
I called The Sheraton Vistana Resort two days ago and asked
if the Palms Villas were remodeled because I was getting different
answers.
I was told by the front desk staff that "NO" but they will begin re-
modeling them as of Sept. of this year. And, the Courts have not
started either.
But, the front desk staff did tell me that if my villa was under con-
struction they would definitely move us to a refurbished one.
This is what I see. The refurbishments started in 2008, they will be
done in July of 2011..I am sure they will be like brand new.

So I wonder if the Palm and Court villas are the only ones left that need to refurbished. Are trip is in the beginning of November and I'm hoping by arriving early enough to the resort that we will get a remodeled unit. I'll keep my fingers crossed !
