We are looking at Sheraton Vistana or Vistana Villages for a trip in 2/08. Financially, a 1BR would work out better for us. We are a family of 3, and my daughter is 4 years old. My question is -- can she sleep comfortably on the sofabed for a week? It looks like the only way to get 2 beds is to pay for a 2BR suite, right?

Any feedback would be appreciated. We want to stay somewhere where we have a kitchen because DD is peanut-allergic and we want to cook meals. I was campaigning for Windsor Hills but DH wants to stay somewhere where mgmt. is on-site.

You can request roll away beds at Vistana Resort.
My DDs have slept on the sofa couch several times without complaints while "their" beds were used by our "guest". In fact, we have had a few adults crash on it as well.

I do make sure I request the roll away bed in advance and remind them again at check in.

I am not sure about Vistana Villages.

I own at both resorts and I can say that my kids love the sofabed! They have never complained about it!

If you are trying to decide between the two, Vistana Villages is much newer and the accomodations are GORGEOUS! Vistana Resort is really nice, too...just request Lakes or Cascades villas. Those are the newest! Vistana Resort is much larger, and there is more to do onsite.

Any other questions, just ask!

We just got back from Vistana Villages in a one-bedrroom. Our adult son slept on the sofa bed. He reported it being more comfortable than his bed at home! He slept very well.

You might want to quickly price out Floridays resort which is evidently accross the road fro Vistana Villages. I only know this becuse we were inquiring about Vistana Villages and they booked us on a "discover and stay" package for 4 nights - a 2 bedroom condo (with all amenities), 1 day at a disney park, 1 day at a Disney waterpark, dinner at Planet Hollywood and a night at the movies and the total package price is.....are youready for it....$500US. Yes, we have to take part in a 90 minute tour of Vistana Villages but what a deal!! The Sheraton Vistana Villages people booked us across the road at Floridays so it can't be too bad. Looks amazing online!
