Sheraton Vistana - Cascades

Has anyone ever stayed in the cascades section overlooking the highway. I have a feeling if I am lucky enough to get cascades I will probably be overlooking the highway. Any info would help.

If I get Cascades and it overlooks the garbage dumpster I will still be thrilled. It is brand new and in my eyes it cannot be bad. I am praying I do not get Courts but have the feeling I might.

Well as far as I know, all balconies face inward toward the resort and most have a lake or pool view (you wouldn't even know you were near the road). So it would be the 2nd bedroom windows that faced towards the road, but most people keep them closed and used the AC.

I stayed in Cascades last July (hoping to be placed there again next week!) and it overlooked the fountains/ponds. HTH

I think other building (like Springs) are between Cascades and the highway or Interstate.

There are 2 or 3 buildings of the Cascades that do back up to SR 535 --but like I mentioned, it will be the 2nd bedroom that faces this direction and maybe the kitchen window. These Cascade bldgs are near the lobby/check in area. Vistana put up a brick/cement wall around this area as well. A portion of Fountains II backs up to a small grassy area and a wooden fence. Beyond the fence is I-4. Part of the Springs, Palms and Falls backs up to either SR 535 or I-4 as well. Again.....there's a wall put up there and all balconies face inward so the highway would not be your view off the balcony EXCEPT where a few buildings of Fountains II is involved. If they place me in this section, I always ask to be moved. These views off the Fountains II select area is one of a grassy area and the wood fence. Most Fountains II have a water view but villas 1601 thru 1672 do not.
