Hi there,

I am new to this board, so hello to everyone.

We have had our reservesation transferred from The Royal Plazza Hotel to the Sheraton Safari. We are staying from 12 December to 24 December 2004.

We understand the Royal Plazza has been closed for refurbishment.

Just wondered if anyone can tell us about the Sheraton Safari, we have never stayed there.

Hope to hear from you real soon.

and had no complaints. Staff was very helpful and my room was clean and comfortable. All upper rooms have balconies and it's nice to sit out on after a long day. Didn't use the hot tub, but enjoyed the pool - it has a great waterslide!

If you're an SPG (Starwood Preferred) member, let them know at checkin. They'll put you in a SP room.

Very convenient to Crossroads Plaza and other restaurants in the area. Right outside the entrance to DTD.

Let me know if you have any other questions!!! :cool1:

PS If you're not a SP member, go to SPG.com and sign up to become one - it's free and will get you points for future stays!!!

We stayed here for a week last December...my biggest recommendation is to make sure your room is not on the top floor of the building that the lobby is in. It has a lot of conference rooms that are set up and taken down all night..it is very noisy as the carts with dishes rattle by all night.
