Just thought I'd let anyone who's interested know that I got the Sheraton Safari for $50 per night through Priceline. I bid on a 2 1/2 star hotel and was upgraded to a 3 star. This is a nice place with wonderful beds and a sorta AK ambience, plus it's very close to WDW.

Cool. I think its a nice hotel and the price is great! Congrats!

Great room, great beds and service! Lovely well-kept grounds and convenient! We got a super bargain for an adult only trip last Feb (way off season) of $35 a night on Priceline! My DH was very impressed with the bargain.. When we checked in there was a lady next to us paying $130 something a night!

Congratulations and enjoy your trip! Thanks for the tip!

Congratulations on your Priceline bid!

I just want to discourage people from bidding on Priceline without the proper education. IMO, $50 is a huge overbid for a 2 1/2* Orlando property. Luckily $45-50 for 3* is just about right :).

If others want to try Priceline, I would suggest checking out www.biddingfortravel.com before they bid.

I'm looking in the near future and was wondering what dates you won on?

Hi :) do you mind if i PM you a question about priceline?

Back in 2004 we got the Sheraton Safari on priceline for the mid $30's a night. I think even $50-60 is a great rate for this hotel. I really enjoyed it, and wouldn't mind staying there again.
