Was able to book this hotel using Starwood points. The photos on their website look really nice. Has anyone stayed here since the refurbishment? How are the rooms? Are there connecting rooms? Do the "sweet sleeper" beds have feathers? What about the pillows? What part of the park do you see with a "Disney" view? Can you view the fireworks from here? How is the pool? The website says its across from Disneyland, but when I called she said it was 3 blocks away. Which is correct? Is there a shuttle to Disneyland? If so, is there a cost?

I cannot answer most of your questions but can answer some. The Anaheim Sheraton is technically "across" from DLR, but the distance to the DLR gates is pretty far compared to some other lodging options.

Here is some info related to location:

"How Far Is It?" (shows actual distances in feet from hotels to DLR entrance plaza) www.mouseplanet.com/articles.php?art=mm060329as

"Walking Distance Accommodations" (shows hotels within walking distance) http://www.mouseplanet.com/dtp/maps/...g_distance_map

"Bret's Disneyland Lodging Map" (shows hotel locations around DLR) www.geocities.com/ashpsyche/DisneylandLinkMap

FWIW, in my experience WDW vets have a higher tolerance for shuttles and buses than DLR vets based on how WDW works. By all means you should make the hotel decision based on what will work best for you, but I encourage everyone to consider staying within walking distance as it makes visiting DLR so much easier and results in less wasted time. If you are interested, I summarized this here: "HydroGuy's Hotel Rule" www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1199862

Also, if you see the fireworks from inside the park at least once, then seeing them again from outside may be fun. BUT, seeing them only from outside the parks will result in missing 98% of what Remember Dreams Come True is about. I guess what I am saying is make sure to see them once inside DLR - from the hub or on the hub end of Main Street is definitely best to see all of the effects. This is a "must see" at DLR.

Am staying at the Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort and not the Sheraton Anaheim Hotel.

I assumed they must be the same thing, but a quick search revealed that this hotel was formerly known as the Coast Anaheim Hotel. A look at this link www.geocities.com/ashpsyche/DisneylandLinkMap shows that it is closer to the DLR gate than the Anaheim Sheraton, but for them to say that it is "across from" DLR seems to be a bit of a stretch.

As for your other questions, I do not have anything to add from what I said before. But for folks who have stayed there, you may get more response if people know this hotel was called Coast Anaheim until recently.
