Sheraton GG Shuttle or Drive

Just got the Sheraton Garden Grove on priceline for our trip next month. There is a fee for the shuttle they provide and some reviews on tripadvisor sound like the shuttle isn't always reliable. Trying to decide if we should just drive our car and pay to park in one of the DLR lots. Thoughts?

I've never used the shuttle but I parked for 3 days in the Toy Story lot last week and it was great. It opens an hour before the park opens but doesn't open an hour before a MM so that messed up my plan one day and I probably should've gone to the other lot but I liked getting on the buses and not a tram.
If you buy your park tickets through AAA then parking is free. Just incase you haven't bought park tickets yet.
