Sheraton Anaheim...recent reviews?

I can't seem to find the search option, I guess it is gone. Thus I am going to start a new thread to see people's opinion on this hotel!

We have Starwood points and could get at least 5 free nights at the hotel this upcoming summer (2005). As long as it's clean and somewhat close (doesn't have to be walking distance), we would be perfectly happy.

For those who have stayed there, what do you think? Any pictures from your stay there?

Webmaster Bob (doesn't post on the boards much) was just there in early summer with his wife, and I visited them while they were there. They loved their room and the beds were so comfortable. I took a tour of the grounds, and they are beautiful. Next to the DL Resort hotels, I like the Sheraton the best.

JC Butterfly - it's a superior hotel, so wouldn't be the budget one you're looking for. There's a Super 8 on the corner of Ball & Disneyland Drive you might consider.

I need to go that way tonight. I'll see what the closest hotels are that are within walking distance for you.

found a pretty good rate for my dates at this place. Currently booked at the Disneyland Hotel but not sure if the savings would be worth the switch. Probably the best thing I've heard is the comfy beds, I love a good night's sleep!

I haven't stayed at the Sheraton, but I was wondering how far they were from Disneyland? Is it at all walking distance or would you have to drive to get there? curious...

We were going to stay here last week but got a good rate for the DLH on expedia at the last minute. We did drive by it though and I would not consider it walking distance.
