What's the good and the bad about this place? How did you choose to get to/from DLR from this Hotel? For those of you who have stayed at DLH, PP or GC, how does this compare? Any other things I should know?

Thanks for your input!

I know they have their own shuttles and when we drove by it was one of the classier looking Hotels, for what thats worth.

I sbooked one night here before moving over to the Disneyland Hotel. It is a nice place and the rooms are large and fairly comfortable and quiet. I don't think it compares really greatly with the Disney hotels in that the location is not great. It would be a long walk to the park so you need to take a shuttle. I didn;t commute from the hotel to the park so can't say how the shuttle service is. The rooms ar bigger than GC and PP but blandly decorated. The courtyards are pretty and so is the lobby area.Temperature control in each room is really odd and though I didn't have trouble with it, if the temp outside is really warm or cold you may have a bit of trouble.
I would stay there again if it were located in a better place. Behind Disneyland on Ball road doesn't work for me.

We stay there all the time and like it a lot. It is a trek to the park - it can be walked but I would not do it unless I really wanted to take a leisurely stroll (about one mile) their shuttle service is good every half hour fairly prompt.
We did walk it a couple of time pushing our stroller after a long day letting our DS fall asleep on the way back to our room.
It is not the same as staying on property or even directly across the street on Harbor Blvd - if you are clear about it's location and not expecting it to be so close to the park you will not be let down.
It is an older hotel but well kept. I love their big rooms. I have booked $79.00 rates online there through Sheraton website with a AAA rate. We are SPG members and I have enjoyed the fact it is a fairly easy place to earn points and use them there.
If you have any other questions just ask.

Does the Sheraton Anaheim have Club Level perks? I am a Platinum level Starwood member, but I have never been to this particular hotel. I'm looking into taking my family there this summer.

Another option would be Hyatt or Hilton brand hotels, since they sometimes match other membership levels of other chains. Any suggestions?

I have seen club level rooms mentioned in the past. I handed them my Starwoods Card when I checked in and recieved a HUGE room but there was not lounge. Perhaps in a different section of the building.

They do have some premium rooms that are 2 level suites - I am sure that if you are platinum that you would get upgraded to one if one is available. Since I am gold I only get moved up to the deluxe room when I check in.
They dont have a "club level" with a lounge that I know of.
