We are planning a WDW trip next February. Just wondering if there are any other SVC members or Interval International users here who can give me the low down on the best place to stay. We would love a continuous shuttle, as we like to take breaks in the afternoon. But I think I read Disney Springs hotels are the only ones that offer that? We might just need to break down and rent a car. There will be 6 of us for sure, and my mom might join us, so that would be 7. Kids ages will be 3,6,8,10. We plan to stay for at least a week. I'd love if we could squeeze in a couple extra days, but that's to be determined.

All of the Marriott properties are fantastic. We just stayed at Imperial Palms and loved it. Harbour Lakes is also really nice for young kids and is a small resort so you're close to all of the amenities.

Grande Vista has 3 bedroom units.

Sheraton Vistana is also a good choice.

I'd stick with any of those properties and you'll have a great time.

When we last stayed at Sheraton Vistana Resort they had a shuttle. This resort is nice and fairly close to Downtown Disney/Disney Springs.

That's good to know....was it a continuous shuttle, or just in the mornings/evenings? We're actually leaning more towards renting a car because we're thinking of extending our trip to 10 days!!

The Sheraton Vistana shuttle was scheduled if I remember correctly. I would call sheraton and ask about the shuttle schedule. Also, ask them if it is free if you book through Interval International.

We like Sheraton Vistana. a lot of the rooms are spacious and nice resort in general. we were just there last year for 10 days, 7 days 3 years ago and going back this year for 7 days. we have Interval International too. You will need to pay for shuttle if this is the way you want to go (timeshare holders need to pay for shuttle). I think (not 100% sure) we were told 3 years ago it was $9 per day per person one way. so for 4 people, $36/one way. If you are going to disney for 5 days, that adds up. Check the transportation thread. There are deals on car rentals, it will be cheaper to get a car even if you end up paying the parking (that at least is the case for us last year) as we got a really good deal on a full size car.

Oh wow. Rental car, even with disney parking, will end up cheaper than that! There are 6 of us! Thanks for the info!

Definitely put the Marriott World Center properties on your list - 2 bedrooms at Mariott Royal Palms and Sabal Palms and three bedroom Marriott Imperial Palms. You would have access to the indoor pool at the Mariott World Center hotel, nice option in February in case it turns cold.

Thank you! An indoor pool would be awesome! We're planning at least a couple days off from the parks.
