I can't believe I missed the Cat in the Hat theme

Kimmy did you know the was40's were
Thing 1
Thing 2
Thing 3

and Thing 5
in matching (except for the numbers) T's last year at Universal? They actually only sell up to Thing 4, so everyone wanted to know where we got a Thing 5 shirt, (I made them) DD10 who was DD9 at the time and wanted to be Thing 2, was happy to get so much attention since she had to be Thing 5.

So it was pouring down rain at nine
and the first game was delayed....

there was some ridiculously new "never heard of it " rule for the last inning when there is a tie (it was 12-12) that the last out from the previous inning automatically goes to second base...........

I know, never heard of that either, but we did it.....


we did not win the game by one, the other team did

I had to take DS to work in the middle of the game and came back to a tie...

The second game started a half hour after the first ended, because of the delay getting started

incidentally, it turned into a hot sunny day!

DD10 had her gym show, so she missed game 2, but DD13 was there, and DH ended up coaching since one of the coaches was MIA

We won that game


and the third game started immediately after game two
so the girls were so tired!

We lost game three by one run in the last inning
it had been tied for four innings.....


no need for tears
now we are OUT of the tourney
and do not have to go back and play tomorrow
