Its 4:32 pm and we are already feeling the effects of Frances. We are getting the very outer bands of her now, in squalls. My Lights went out twice already and I don't know for how long I will have power. My DF from Daytona Beach is on her way here to Miami to wait it out with her Mom. Wish us Luck, and I pray for the WHOLE State of Florida!

My mom's cousins live in Nassau. They're currently in the embassy hurricane shelter down there, but obviously we're concerned about them too, since the island got hammered.

Faith~ Hang in there.

We are in NW Broward county. We haven't lost power yet, but I expect that we will. As the outer rain/wind bands of the storm roll in, it makes for strange weather. One minute it's sunny and clear, then a while later the winds are gusting and then the heavy rain comes.

It's calm now and the sun is trying to peek through the clouds, but that will change. I don't know what it will be like once the hurricane hits land. I don't even want to think about what it will be like to be without power with 3 kids.

Oh my, I just read the updated report on mousesavers and they have even ordered a curfew in Orange County (WDW area) for tomorrow and Sunday from 9:00pm - 6:00am.

I have a cousin, aunt, uncle and second cousins in Orlando and I've emailed them but haven't heard back yet.

I pray for all of you that are in Florida.

here in okeechobee county it's been really windy today... Nice as the summer never brought any wind. Haven't had anything else yet, but tonight/tomorrow morning will be a completely different story. I'll keep you guys updated as long as i can!
