Our Christmas present... a trip to Disney went very well. We packed a big washing Machine box with ballons and a scroll tied to on that said "Surprise We're going to Disney". The box drove them crazy since it was the last to be opened. DD 9 cried and our DD 15 even teared up before she regained the typical teen indifferance DS7 jumped around a whooped and hollered :rotfl2:
It was soooo worth keeping it a surprise! :cloud9:

Yay! How exciting!!!! I bet they will always remember that box full o' balloons!

What a great way to surprise them! I bet it was an unforgettable moment. Looks like you're going around the same time as we are. We're at the AKL. Have a great trip!!!

What a magical Christmas gift! Not only do they have an unforgettable memory, but they have something FABULOUS to look forward to!:goodvibes

We are staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins :) 1/30-2/6

Excellent surprise... Loved the way you did it!!! Enjoy your trip!

Wow what a great idea- I'm going to tuck that one away in my head just in case we get a chance to use it sometime!!

How wonderful! We're not doing our surprise for a few more weeks... when their dad gets back. Working on all the specifics now :)

My little gang is still excited. We watched the Christmas Parade and they can't wait to go. I did have to tell DD9 that no the Christmas decorations wouldnt be up. And I explained that if she wanted to see the christmas stuff its usually much more crowded and nearly a year away rather then just a few weeks... she canned the christmas decorations :lol

BTW skip the Helium, fill the box with LOTS of blown up ballons and have 1 with a note inside or tied outside and watch the kids try to find it.Our Helium wasn't floating enough for the ballons to pop up by time kids opened the box they just sort of slowly hovered up....i guess the scroll kind of weighed them down cause once they took the scroll off the balloons popped up to the ceiling.
Even with the technical difficulties it was a magical christmas pixiedust:

I'm so happy for you. We've been homeschooling for 6 years now and we've really enjoyed the bonus of visiting Disney off-season. We stayed in the cabins for our first trip. They were lots of fun. Have a wonderful trip!
