Sharper Image Adventurer's Wrist Band

Has anybody used this device to combat seasickness?

Someone gave us one and if I'm wondering if it will really work.

DH and I were both ss the last time we cruised (4 day on the wonder). This time it's 7 days on the Magic so we want to be very ss prepared in advance.

I don't know specifically about the Sharper Image brand, but my DW used Sea bands and they really helped. She could really feel the difference when she took them off.

There was another thread (can't seem to find it), about using ginger snaps as well to help prevent sea sickness. Also talked about using ginger pills.
