Does anyone know if you're allowed to use your own snorkels/masks at Shark Reef?

Thanks,

I do recall that you can use your own equiptment. I just don't feel like packing it! So I use the TL snorkels & mask.

Thank you, Marilou. We're going to WDW by car this time, so I guess it would be easy for us to bring along our own stuff.

Cheers,

When we were there in September they said my DD could use her own goggles, if she wanted. Also, they said you could do it without a snorkel, if you wanted. Unfortunately, my DD7, changed her mind. She got scared. Maybe next time. I :lovestruc it!

I thought you had to be older to swim with the sharks? What is the age minimum? I have a DS9 and he would LOVE this in 3 weeks.

There is no age limit, As long as they are accompanied by an adult they are allowed to swim in the reef.

Also I know that "official" policy is that you can only use the mask and snorkel provided, but I don't know how well that is enforced.

Good to know. Thank you.
