DS has a question - in looking at the menus so many of you have posted (THANK YOU) he didn't see shark as a regular item but did see 'catch of the day' listed. Anyone know if shark has ever been one of them?

Deb

I've never heard Shark being offered.

I did a quick scan of the menu's and only saw that Palo has a catch of the day.

For the last year, This has been "Chilean Sea Bass".

Thanks Tony! He and his dad were looking at stuff yesterday and I was simply given the question to ask. I'm sure he'll find plenty of "exoctic" (at least by Michigan standards) of fish to eat.

Guess I'll be making a trip to the fish market and placing a special order so he can try this particular item! :p

Shark is actualy not considered that great of a steak fish, I have had several varities, a fresh tuna steak is exceptionaly better, in fact a previously frozen tuna steak is even better than shark.

Rmbreset -

Thanks for the input. Personally I have never eaten shark, and don't really have a burning desire too! But he loves fish of all sorts and has his dad's adventurous eating streak. So will report back and he can decide.

I am an adventurous eater as well (I eaten some bizarre foods, like calf fries, frog legs, moose, bear, boar etc) if he wants to try something out of the ordinary see if you can get some alligator steak while in Fla, they use to have a blackened one on Narcossie's menu (the round restaurant behind the Grand Fla. in WDW) that was vey good.
