This is what i came up with after MANY phone calls!

8/17 - Chef Mickey's (8pm)
8/18
8/19 - LeCellier (11:30am) will pay OOP
8/19 - Ohana (7:15pm)
8/20 - Spirit of Aloha (8pm)
8/21 - pool day, as we are heading home!

Does anyone know how to find out what time Wishes is on the 19th? Was wondering if there was a possibility of watching from Ohana? Or will we be there too early?

I got very lucky this morning. I called at 9:30 am (I knew that at 7 am it would be a 45 minute wait). I got everything I wanted.

My dining plans were pretty much made with my son in mind, as he has a limited palette (Asperger's syndrome). I'm very happy!

I made these just over two weeks ago. We will be there from 8/8 to 8/16 for our honeymoon! I was able to get all the meals I wanted, when I wanted. I would hope so when I only wanted 4 ADRs.

8/11: Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic! package: 5pm
8/12: Rose and Crown (for his birthday): 530pm
8/15: Tony's Town Square: 505pm


I didn't feel the need to go overboard with ADRs. We will have just gotten married and we just bought a house last week. We are fine with eating counter-service meals and trying some off-site locations/those that don't accept ADRs.


Yesterday, I booked the Segway tour in Epcot as a surprise for my fiance. We will be doing that 8/14 at 745am.

8/23 - Kona Cafe 9 a.m., Sci Fi 1:15 p.m., 50's Prime Time 6 p.m.
8/24 - 'Ohana 9:30 a.m., Crystal Palace 5 p.m.
8/25 - Whispering Canyon Cafe at 6:05 (wanted 'Ohana, 9 p.m. was left)
8/26 - Whispering Canyon Cafe at 8:30 a.m., Marrakesh 5 p.m.
8/27 - Crystal Palace 8:30 a.m. (wanted later), Teppan Edo 5 p.m.
8/28 - 1900 Park Fare 5:15 p.m.
8/29 - 'Ohana 5 p.m. (I was told I was lucky as someone had just canceled this one)

I asked why they were so hard to come by. Basically, the people there right before me and staying for a longer time, were able to book. The hot spots fill up quickly. I really wasn't aware that 'Ohana is considered a hot spot or that 1900 Park Fare is what they are calling "The Castle meal without being in the castle." I am very, very fortunate that I was able to get every place I wanted to - but did a lot of compromising on the time!!!

24th - Day at AKL - Jiko 7:10 for just me and the DH while DD is at Simba's
25th – Tusker House 8:20 for just me and the DD
26th - 50s PT 5:45
27th - Flying Fish 7:10
28th - Chefs de France 12:10
29th - Crystal Palace 11:45

Here are mine ressie's: I called right at 7am on the 90 day mark and I was on hold for about five minutes. Right after I made my last ressie, I dropped my phone and didn't have any of my confirmation numbers. I called back and by now it was about 0720 or 0725 and I was on hold for about 15 minutes. They had all of my reservations in place, thank goodness.

All of the reservations are between 5 and 6:30. I just don't remember right now and I don't have it in front of me.

8/11 - Lunch @ Hollywood and Vine
8/12 - Dinner @ Whispering Canyon
8/13 - Dinner @ Chief Mickey's
8/14 - Dinner @ Teppan Edo

We're pretty excited since this will be our 1st time at DW. My 4yr son should love it. After Disney, we are headed to Universal and Sea World.

Called several times and got Ohana for Dinner

Friday Aug 28 at 9:40pm. I really wanted at the latest 8pm, because I am not sure how my DS (7) will be that late. But I figured we could get there early and watch Wishes from the beach which is at 9pm and then go eat. I think my boys would like that and think it's cool. Of course I will keep calling in case of any cancellations. Good Luck to anyone still trying.

My DD is sad we aren't able to get Le Cellier but I'm excited to try Chefs de France. We also have never had Kona Cafe and I have wanted to try it for so long but when DD was younger she was super picky. Thank goodness she has outgrown that for the most part. We are also trying to figure out when we can squeeze in Tea at the Garden View Lounge.

Was hoping to get Chef Mickey's for 8/19 but at least Kona is at the resort. This is our first trip so I suppose it is all good .

I got reservations i wanted but had to tweek a day. I called at 7:00 and got put right through to a reservationist, no wait at all. Total call i was off the phone by 7:16. I got Ohana which i originally wasnt even going to bother with because Chef Mickey was full.

We're skipping some popular ones we like (CRT, Boma, 'Ohana) this time, to make room for trying out a few new ones. But we're going back to a couple of old favorites (LeC, CM's).

I was going to try for Le Cellier instead of Chefs de France (which was our backup), but forgot to even ask after waiting on hold for over an hour and having to switch some of the other reservations around (after not getting my preferred day). Oh well, it seems like getting LeC is hit-or-miss anyway.

Interestingly, I did not have nearly this much trouble on our last visit (same week two years ago) when I called just 30 days out. This time I called exactly 90+10 days out.

Boma, Crystal Palace, California Grill, Chefs de France, and the 50's Prime Time Cafe will be new for us. (We've never been to LeC, either. Maybe next time...)
