Looking for any experience sharing on the DDP. We are all on the DDP but would like to share meals (my mom and I) and I'm wondering if anyone has been turned down or allowed to do this (except for buffets, I know that is not allowed).

Thank you! :)

Not just buffets, but also family style all you can eat restaurants like Ohana or Garden Grill, fixed price restaurants like CRT or Akershus, and dinner shows - you can't share at any of these. All charges will be per person, not per meal. It's also not allowed to share the all you can eat skillet at Whispering Canyon, everyone who eats off the skillet pays the skillet price (children under 3 excluded).

The only restaurant I have heard reports of refusing to allow patrons on the DDP to share a meal is Beaches & Cream.

My DH and myself or myself and my DD shared many of a QS meal. There is just so much food sometimes. We never had a problem. All other TS was at buffets so we could not share.

We've shared TS meals (non-buffet or family style) at several restaurants no problem. (Actually, one of them was at Beaches and Cream, my DDs shared a kids meal so they could have room for ice cream, we ordered an additonal dessert oop, and this was fine.)
