Sharing on DD Plan

Can anyone tell me about their experiences with sharing food on the DD plan? Were any of the restaraunts put off by this?

My BF and I are going to DW in August, and I know there are times when we could eat off of one meal, especially with the Table Service meals.

I'd get out my flame retardant suit if I were you, some people have strong opinions on this subject!

I took my 7yo, 14yo & her best friend in April. We were on the DDP. We all ordered different items, then when our food arrived, we passed dishes around, so we could sample all different sorts of foods. We actually asked our servers for some extra small plates so it would be easier. They never even indicated that it was out of the ordinary or frowned upon. It was fun, we got to try lots of different foods, and no one ever said anything to us about it.

Personally I am on vacation and I really don't care what other's think about sharing food from another family members plate. As long as I'm enjoying myself, not hurting anyone else, I figure it's my business. Besides, we paid for the food (DDP or otherwise), why shouldn't I share with my family?

My DD7 is a very picky eater, and when she does find something she likes, she usually eats only a little bit at a time. I have been to WDW twice on the dining plan, and have had no problems with her sharing my meal at any of the places we ate, both CS and TS. There is certainly enough food for this, and that way we are able try more different places.
