Just want to see if I have this right...

Typically we've gone to WDW with friend who travel during the same dates. We've normally shared the pre-purchased Memory Maker / PhotoPass. All the photos show up to download and life is good.

This year they went a few weeks earlier than us, and already prepaid for Memory Maker. They started to download photos on Sept 10th. Our stay at WDW is over on Oct 4th, so we are well within their download window. We are also linked to their Memory Maker account through the typical invite system on MyDisneyExperience.

1st) Will our Photopass photos from our WDW stay show up on their Memory Maker?
2nd) We can have them download our photos when we get home correct, as long as we do it before their download window expires?

Thanks,
Dan

Your photos will show up, but if they started downloading September 10 the Memory Maker will expire October 10. So you're fine, just make sure they download within 6 days of coming home.

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure we don't need to buy Memory Maker, and that this would all work out. Sounds like it will all work?

Let us know how this works out.

I've been told pertaining to memory maker the photos stay in the que for 45 days from date of picture taken. Apply the memory maker and download before the 45th day and you can still capture photos for 30 days from day of first download. This would effectively give you about a 75 day window to capture photos. Although I've been told this I haven't had the opportunity to test it. Jarmo did you get to test this?

Can anyone else confirm that this should work for us? Thanks in advance...

Dan

We are actually in the middle of doing this with 3 family groups travelling different weeks in September. 2 groups have completed their trips, the last is there now. All of the photos appear in my photopass since I purchased the Memory Maker, and I can download all of them.

You can stretch to 75 days as you described as long as everything is timed right. In this case the MM has already been redeemed so it can only be used until October 10.... the 45 day picture expiration period doesn't really matter for the OP.

Awesome. Thanks!
