Sharing Meals?

My DD's are starting to venture away from kid meals and trying adult fare. Do the restaurants split adult entrees? I'm thinking they wouldn't be able to eat a whole plate of food intended for an adult (though they would like to try).

My DH and I often share entrees and even appetizers. It's never been a problem. We do leave a bigger tip than usual when we share though, as a thank you to the server for the extra work. We share because the portions are usually way too big, especially if you want to try an appetizer and dessert as well as the entree.

I agree. For both budget and health reasons, we often share meals. Serving sizes in restaurants everywhere (not just Disney) are often obscenely large (which is why so many people are getting equally large).

Sharing at Disney is no problem at all. Enjoy yourself and save some money in the process. The suggestion of a more generous tip is a good one.

Good for your children for trying things off the adult menu! Many restaurants these days are flexible about sharing entrees. My DH and I took my mom to Emerils at Universal Studios, and were happy to find that the restaurant had no problem sharing salads and entrees. If you have any concerns, call ahead, and as mentioned by others, tip well.

LOL - assuming she can get her two DDs to agree on a menu item! My sisters are 2 years apart, and the very idea of them agreeing on anything is still pretty funny!

Well, this is certainly true MHopkins2!! I really shouldn't assume they will agree to anything (lol). We might have to have a talk about it before we go. I'll let them look at the menus from Deb's site and let them decide at home.
