Ok..so I'm looking at the DisneyLand menu's at All Ears Net and the prices are pretty high. How are the portion sizes? Are they as generous as they are at WDW, so that two female adults could share one meal?

When we've gone before, we have always eaten off property or we've gotten the meal plan and paid ahead of time for our food. We're not doing that this time, because the food choices are really limited on the meal plan.
Thanks!

If you're doing sit-downs, there is a split plate charge, but you both get all the side dishes. Most of the buffeteria type places (Plaza Inn, Rancho Del Zocalo) do have pretty big portions. I can't eat a whole meal at any of the buffeteria type places. On the other hand, with counter service, I couldn't split my meal with another person.

Blue Bayou portions can be split...the Monte Cristo sandwich is more than enough for two and we weren't charged for the extra plate!

I think many of the meals are large enough to be shared. The mexican restaurant at Downtown Disney (sorry, can't remember name) has pretty large portions and could easily be split for lunch, at least. The salads at Pizza Port in Tomorrowland are HUGE and could be a meal for two people. I thought the prices at Pizza Port were pretty reasonable for the amount of food....AND you can refill your drinks for free.
