Are we allowed to share meals at a full service restaurant or is there a cover charge? I have had gastric bypass surgery and can't eat too much and my grandkids -ages 2 & 5 don't eat much either. Can we buy one adult meal and split or is this forbidden?

Don't mean to sound cheap but there is no reason to waste the food if there is another solution.

Thanks,
Sherry

We've shared many times without a problem - matter of fact, they have always split the meals in the back for us as well! We have found the portions to be too large (esp when there are yummy snacks in the park to enjoy!) so DH and I often split.

We split a lot of our meals. And as Aimeedayn said if you ask when ordering they will usually split it up in the back and bring out 2 plates. We had no problems! Enjoy

We have been known to share a meal or two and have never had a problem with it

Some of the restaurants have reduced portions recently, but I doubt they'll ever impose a cover charge.

We just starting doing this too. For some reason, I never thought of splitting meals until I read about it on this board. It has been great because NOW we can try desserts too! Before we were so full that we couldn't order anything else. But if we can split we can get an appetizer and a dessert and split those along with the entree and it is great! Wish I had thought of it sooner.

I remember that the Prime Time meals were large enough to share.

Which other restaurants/meals were quite large?

Thanks.
