Hi, I booked lunch at the ADC, and I was looking at some pictures posted of the dishes, and they are huge. My DD4 will not be eating that much food I'm certain. I was wondering if you have to order for each person or you could order two adults menus only, with beverages for the kids, and maybe her own dessert. Is this possible?

As it is a fixed price character/princess meal you'll be expected to pay for everyone at the table :)

That is exactly what happened to us last July. I wasn't that hungry and neither was Mia but we still had to order the meals. It was well worth it!

DItto what the others have said.

Maybe DH & I are just plain greedy pigs but we didn't find the portions that huge to be honest . It was just right. You'll be there for a couple of hours anyway, so you can pace yourself and have a nice leisurely meal and next thing you know, you'd have finished your meal lol. My kids don't eat that much in general either and DH & I managed to finish their leftovers as we kept picking at their plate:blush:.

I think you will be shocked how small the food portions are if your used to American standards.

Works also the other way. We were shocked how huge the portions are in America. :lmao:

When we ate at ADC prior to the Princess meal being introduced, I was amazed to find that the "vegetable accompaniement" to my salmon consisted of 4 French beans and 2 grilled cherry tomatoes. :rotfl:

I would describe the portion sizes as modest. :)

Thank you for your replies. At least the 2 year old won't have to pay this time :-)

I hope it wasn't just us but we ordered DS his own set meal (he's 2.5 yrs old) as we thought under 3's wouldn't have to pay - but we had to pay for him too. Perhaps we shd have asked first but we didn't. Just to let you know so that you're prepared lol.
