Sharing Fun in the Sun in Aulani (Beach gear swap and share)

Please indicate below dates for your trip. On the day you checkout leave your beach gear (sand toys etc) with bell services and labelled for the next person on the swap (check in dates and last name) Will get details of names later and send in PMs) Looks like a few dates will overlap but we can make contact at the hotel.

I'm happy to get this started and then maybe someone else can keep it going during the summer.

Items you may have brought or purchased that you want to pass on for another family to enjoy (beach toys, frisbee, boogie board etc).

If the first family to get some kind of beach bag to carry things in, then everyone can just add to it.

Thanks. Has anyone cleared this with Bell Services? I mean, are they up for storing a large bag of stuff that could include boogie boards, a beach umbrella, etc? It just seems like a lot to ask of them or just assume they will do it. How does this work exactly?

I haven't but I am going on my experience in the Xmas tree share at WDW. Which was a huge cardboard box. Also it looks like there is a lot of overlaping so you could do a hand to hand trasfer and just drop it off to the other guests room.

I agree we need to verify HOWEVER, at WDW, I have seen stroller swaps, refrigerator swaps, tree swaps, etc. Plus, they will hold your luggage until you are ready to depart. I can't imagine they would have a complaint about it.
They also hold groceries when delivered as well as Owners Lockers and strollers delivered and returned for pick up at WDW.

On another board, a local was asking people to please NOT just buy and throw away because they (understandably) have an issue with disposal of trash on the island.
